The Whittlesea Colour Carnival is back for it’s 6th year to celebrate Holi!

Holi is a two-day Hindu festival that originates in India celebrating good over evil, light over darkness.

Everyone is invited to get colourful with their loved ones on 2 and 3 April at the grounds of the Civic Centre, Council Offices in South Morang.

Entry is free but booking is essential.

Day 1 : Holika Dahan/Fire and Light Festival

Saturday, 2nd April 5pm-10pm

Day 1 Highlights:

  • Holika Dahan/Bonfire
  • Fire Shows
  • Live Singing by Melbourne’s leading Bollywood Singer (Siyer)
  • Dances by Bindaas Bollywood
  • Amusement Rides
  • Food Trucks
  • Fireworks
  • No Colour Play on Day 1

Day 2 : Holi and Colour Fun Run

Sunday, 3rd April 11am-5pm

Day 2 Highlights:

  • Holi
  • Colour Play
  • Colour Toss
  • Colour Fun Run
  • Live DJ
  • Amusement Rides
  • Food Trucks
  • Bollywood Dances
  • Punjabi Bhangra
  • Colour Fun Run at approx 3.30pm, Colour Toss every 30 Minutes
