All kids need a place to run, jump, climb and play so in the City of Whittlesea we have dozens of purpose built, innovative playgrounds that are designed to challenge and excite the little ones.
There are monkey bars, slides, swings, rock climbing walls and more, for children of all ages and abilities. Play with your kids on the flying foxes, applaud them as they navigate the rock climbing walls, push them on the basket swings and cheer them on as they traverse the equipment. Kids create games wherever they go and the play spaces of the City of Whittlesea will keep kids stimulated and amused for hours on end.
The Plenty River is in the heart of the region. It’s a suburb area to picnic and there are a range of walking and bicycle tracks of varying degrees of difficulty. Choose an easy walk or challenge yourself with a track that heads uphill to scenic lookouts or winds its way through lush eucalypt forests.
