Plenty Gorge Park Walk – Morang Wetlands

Come and enjoy a morning walk through the beautiful Morang Wetlands at Plenty Gorge Park. Learn more about this unique section of the park with our friendly and knowledgeable volunteer guides. Along with reliable kangaroo spotting, walkers will be treated to a variety of wetlands birds the park is home to and find out why the Murray Long Neck Turtle found a home in the wetlands, so far away from the Murray river.

Whether this walk is a once-off exploration or a new part of your fitness and wellbeing routine, you are free to relax and enjoy what walk has to offer.

The approx. 4 km walk is an easy, beginner level walk and takes around 1.5 hours to complete. Expected terrain is mostly even with some moderate escarpments over bitumen, gravel and grass.
