Birdlife in the area is abundant and there is plenty of places to visit in the area if you want to view or photograph birds.
Some of the best places to visit include: Kinglake National Park; Plenty Gorge Parklands; Quarry Hills Regional Park and Yan Yean Reservoir Park.
