The historic former Wollert Uniting Church has recently been relocated to Carome Homestead within Plenty Gorge Parklands. The little timber building was dismantled and restored as part of the state government’s Plenty road widening project and is available for hire and use as a community space. The property is managed by Working Heritage Committee of Management.
The space is suitable for group events, meetings, seminars, product launches, exhibitions and can cater for between 20-50 people in this idyllic nature setting, Carome Homestead.
Catering options also available by enquiring to Two beans at Carome Estate café right next door.
Working Heritage will waive the hire fee for use of the hall for community based organisations in 2023.
